Reservations must be made with the Guest Coordinator before making a payment. To check availability of housing, to make reservations, or to obtain additional information about Desert House of Prayer, please contact our guest coordinator. We are open to guests from mid-August through June, but not during July and early August when we schedule our major repairs and maintenance.
When you request reservations we will send you a letter detailing expenses and payment methods, as well as our arrival and check-out policies. After completing the reservation process with the Guest Coordinator, please mail a check or money order in US dollars to the address below or make payment using the PayPal button below.

After contacting the Guest Coordinator and making tentative reservations, you will be given the exact dollar amount for your stay with us and the amount to be sent in advance as a deposit. To confirm the reservation, Click the PayPal button below and enter the deposit amount without using a dollar sign and then follow prompts to complete the transaction. Follow the same procedure to send subsequent payments. You need not have a PayPal account to use this feature.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance of your expected arrival time, the deposit can be applied to a future retreat. Any payment beyond the required deposit will be refunded.
Retreatants may not book rooms or hermitages for non-overnight use longer than five days in advance. Any retreatant staying overnight who retains a room or hermitage past the usual check-out time without special permission will be charged an additional night since we might not be able to put anyone in that room until the following day. To assure maximum privacy and silence, we do not provide room service; retreatants are welcome to wash their own sheets and towels, if desired, at $1 per load.
